Beneficiation is a process of removing various impurities from the ore to use it for specific purpose. The removal of impurities drastically increases the quality of the ore, ultimately makes it usable in higher grade works. Multiple methods like washing, magnetic separation, jigging, gravity separation, and floating are used for beneficiation of ore. Beneficiation increases the value of the ore, eventually gaining more profit to the business. Pelletization is a process of converting iron ore into pellets. Pellets are small spherical balls of iron which are generally used in blast furnaces as raw material. After the process of beneficiation, the extracted high quality of iron ore is subjected to pelletization. Limestone or dolomite is added in pelletization process as a fluxing agent. After preparation of pellets, they are transported to wherever necessary.
